Open a saved affirmation, or choose Make it mine on Today. Edit the words, tap Record my voice, allow microphone access, and tap Finish recording. Tap Save my words to keep the recording. You can record up to one minute per affirmation.

Open a saved affirmation and choose Use on widget. Then edit your iPhone Home Screen or Lock Screen, choose Add Widget, and select Velvet Words. Only your pinned line is shared with the widget. It can be visible while your phone is locked.

They are stored in the app on your iPhone. The app has no account or cloud sync. Apple device backups may include app data depending on your settings. Use Settings → Export backup to make a copy that includes recordings. Keep it somewhere private.

In Settings, choose Restore a backup and select a Velvet Words JSON backup. Review the replacement confirmation. Restoring replaces the current library and turns off reminders until you enable them on this device.

Use Restore purchases in Settings with the same Apple Account used to buy. Manage or cancel subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles refund requests.

Your existing saved words, recordings, and reflections remain accessible. New premium collections and additional recordings require Plus. The free library remains available.

Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and what happened. Do not send private recordings, reflections, passwords, payment-card details, or backup files unless you specifically choose to share relevant content.
